3796 Heddle, Robert, 4 Oct 1826 - 28 Aug 1860. From Orkney Islands, s/o Robert H. of Melsetter and Cletts. Educated at the Edinburgh Academy, 1834-42. Moved to Canada circa 1845, but returned because of ill-health. Farmer and naturalist. Married Jane, daughter of Dr. Duguid, Kirkwall. EAR 79.
